Week #100 ....Elder Jake Scot Peacock Unforgettable Missionary Moment #1

The Good Fight -

Elder Peacock last Unforgettable Missionary Moment!

Well, the time has come; my full time missionary service is coming to an end!
These last two years have been the best days of my life.
I’ve been tested and tried, pushed and encouraged, but through the thick and thin I have bettered myself. Better said, the atonement of Christ has made me whole, pure, and HAPPY!
I really have no words to describe how happy I am. I have taught people the things I know and the have came to know them as well.

I love Guatemala and the people, my heart is and will always be with the CHAPINES.

I am excited to see all of my family and friends, but sad that I will not see my Guatemalan family and friends for a while.

GOD LIVES, JESUS CHRIST IS HIS SON. AND THE CHURCH OF JESUS CHRIST OF LATTER-DAY SAINTS IS THE ONLY TRUE AND LIVING CHURCH!

Signing out with love,

Elder Jake Scot Peacock

Week #99....EJSP Unforgettable Missionary Moment #2

We Be in a TRIO!!!

Haha Elder Hernandez is the newest member of the best companionship this side of the Veil. (Because obviously The God head has got us beat).

A drunken guy gave me a nice shove onto the curb this week and the picture doesn’t show but its black and blue baby, heck yeah got to love drunks.

EJSP Unforgettable Missionary Moment #2

Wow second to last time writing is weird.

Miracles and more miracles

I have seen countless miracles, for healing of the sick and afflicted to seeing the miracle of conversion. The uniting of eternal families, and the uniting with companions to help these chosen souls find the path to eternal life. The mission is a miracle. Its a miracle that I am able to even be a small part in Gods perfect and eternal plan! I know that he lives and loves us and his goal is that we can be an ETERNAL part of his ETERNAL plan. Not just a temporary two years. Rather these two years prepare us for eternity!!

Love you all

Week #98....EJSP Unforgettable Missionary Moment #3

EJSP Top 10 Unforgettable Missionary Moments Number 3

BUGS. ANIMALS AND GROSS STUFF

I have seen more crawling things in two years on the mission than I saw in 18 years at home. To list a few, coach roaches, spiders, metallic beetles, scorpions, possums, mice, rats, iguanas, lizards, giant flies, double headed mosquitos, and a bunch of other nasty dead stuff too like cats dogs horses cows birds.
I am glad that I wont have to deal with scorpions under my pillow anymore LOL. Or eat fried possum, or iguana soup or eggs. All that stuff is stuff I’m not going to forget. I will miss that beautiful nature here; it is so green and lush. I have also loved bring around the ocean and volcano’s

Also the pictures are of some wonder food and my comp and I with matching ties.

Love you,

Elder Peacock
