Week #50...Every Member is a Missionary!

Hey Family and Friends!!!!!!!

This week was incredibly busy but incredibly sick as always!! We ran (literally) around to help all of the missionaries with their progressing investigators. We saw a huge miracle on Sunday... so for us in Milpas Altas it is so hard to get people to church because the church is 30 minutes away in bus so its a huge time commitment to come (let alone financial burden) So to get somebody to church takes a lot of faith on there part. Anyway we had been working so hard to be able to get somebody to church. SO it was a miracle that somebody that we have never even talked to showed up to church and is super positive. We saw her there and starting asking her questions like who invited her. She told us that her sister is way less active but that she had been looking for answers in her life so she decided to come to church. HUGE MIRACLE. haha the mission is sick. Sometimes its super hard and discouraging, but with every small miracle I see my faith grows and I push forward to help my brothers and sisters be prepared to meet our maker!!!  I love the mission and its trials.

Spiritual thought!!!
EVERY MEMEBER IS A MISSIONARY
Missionaries are here to teach and to baptize. Missionary’s can knock doors all day and might find some people, but members know their neighbors and know the people who are ready to hear about the restored gospel. DONT BE SELFISH GIVE THE MISSIONARIES YOUR REFERENCES I KNOW YOU HAVE THEM PEOPLE!!!!

Sorry no pics this week but I’m still ugly don’t worry about me!!!

Week #49....................Trust the Lord

 Dear family and friends,

This week was incredible as usual. We have seen miracles and I am having a blast. So yesterday we went to a place called Solola to play some soccer. I still hate soccer, but I’ve found that my position is defiantly goalie because I’m the biggest one out there. HAHA but yesterday I was playing some lock down defense and dove to stop a ball but smacked my knee on the goal post real good and now its the size of a softball and black haha good stuff. Also yesterday we felt another earthquake and at the same moment the volcano went off. Guatemala is so cool. We are working hard and seeing miracles. Not much to tell this week but I’m doing great!!!

Spiritual thought -1Nephi 17:51. If the Lord has so much power, why cant he teach you how to ¨build a boat.” If we trust that the Lord loves us and is all-powerful he can teach us everything we could ever want to know!!!!!

I LOVE YOU GUYS!

Week #48........Welcoming President and Sister Cluff

Hey family and friends,

This week was awesome!! We welcomed president and hermana Cluff to Guatemala. They are really awesome we love them.
In fact president wanted to do his first visits here in Antigua, Guatemala so he came with me to my area and I did the first divisions with president Cluff hahahaha it was so fun.

We also had an awesome baptism of a kid named neftali he goes by nefi, which is Spanish for Nephi. He is super cool and always tells us his desires to go on a mission. He’s mom is a less active that we found but now the whole family goes to church again. We also went this week to Panajachel. It is on the opposite side of lake Atitlan and it is so pretty the mountains are volcano’s that go off every 4 hours haha so sick. We are working so hard and seeing miracles. I love my companion and my calling. I love running around helping the zone have success. Some of these pictures are from Antigua too.

Spiritual 4th of July thought - All of my life I have heard that the USA was the best country in the world. But until I left I didn’t think it was true. We are SO BLESSED to be United States citizens, the freedoms and privileges that we have are incredible to me. The amount of people who can live comfortably with out feelings scared for their life is so high in the states. Here people have nothing and are often worried about getting assaulted or worse killed. We are so blessed to live where we live and have the knowledge and capability to live the restored gospel.

HAPPY INDEPENDENCE DAY
